Mike is a Business Management graduate of Columbia State College in Columbia, TN. Mike is no stranger to people development, having spent over 30 years as a manager and a mentor to his teams in the restaurant industry and “big box” retail, where he put the personal and professional development of his team first and foremost. Mike has worked for a diverse range of organizations, including Lowe’s and Toys “R” Us in both store and corporate management positions. His passion for developing people to be their best and helping families led him to join Colburn Financial in 2019.
Stephanie grew up in a small town and worked for her families’ small business selling camping supplies. This gave her an eagerness to obtain a degree in Marketing from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. After losing her father to esophageal cancer in 2014, a strong calling appeared to serve others in their financial health. When that divine plan became a reality, the chance to work side-by-side with Mike, became an opportunity to help people in their time of need.
Mike and Stephanie met in the retail industry in 2004. They live in Dayton, OH, with sons Clark and Mercer, and their two dogs Sango and Holly. In his spare time, Mike enjoys his vast collection of G.I. Joe toys, comics, and collectibles that he has been building since his childhood and also runs a regional G.I. Joe toy show. When she isn’t busy keeping up with her boys, Stephanie enjoys playing USTA Tennis, gardening, and spending time with the family.
