Always wanting to make a difference, Bret Loftis has performed several different roles in various companies ranging from fortune 500 to a 5-employee small business. Early on in his career, Bret made a name for himself at Centex Home Equity earning loan officer of the year and then becoming the youngest sales manager in the division. He was then recruited by Saxon Mortgage in Glen Allen, VA where he developed and launched a new branch of their sub-prime division. In 2007 he decided to walk away from finance and reunited with some high school friends to help them grow their custom construction business. Over a ten-year period, they grew from a 4-person 750k business into 3 companies that employed over 40 people and grossed just over 16 million a year. His heart has always been in finance with a passion for small business which is why he decided to join Colburn Financial and develop an agency of his own.
