Ron is a free spirit hailing from Long Island, New York who enjoys life and helping to empower others. Ron graduated from Hofstra University with a Computer Engineering degree while giving back to his community as a volunteer firefighter for 13 years. While working in the computer industry, Ron was asked to train and coach staff. What he discovered was one of his great passions in life – helping others to learn, grow and create a more fulfilling life. Ron’s strength is in combining his goal-driven business background with his expertise in leadership, self-development, and organizational development to create a safe, encouraging environment for positive, sustainable changes and results. Ron has coached and consulted for some diverse organizations such as Walmart; Imperial Vending Company of Tulsa, OK; and the community-based not-for-profit Jones Center in Springdale, AR; as well as individual coaching for clients in a broad range of industries.
After 25 years in the Information Technologies (IT) world, training and coaching IT executives and staff, Ron created The Dilbert Consulting Group to continue and expand his successful track record of helping to empower individuals and teams to become more successful, focused, and productive.
Ron brings this background to the Colburn Agency in helping families to protect themselves and their assets, as well as helping to develop and create teams that are impassioned to help more families while achieving team and individual goals.
Ron lives in Fayetteville, AR, and Boynton Beach, FL with his wife Eden. Ron has a 33-year-old son and a small Shih Tzu named Ozzie. Ron enjoys reading, training, coaching, travel, horseback riding, hiking, and snorkeling. Of course, he has his bucket list that combines all his passions, including his devotion to family.
